Centenary Ride

To mark the centenary (2014) of Dylan Thomas' birth we are pleased to offer a two hour ride suitable for all ages and abilities to take in the scenery which inspired the poet and much more besides.

You will ride quiet, well schooled horses and the route will take you past the churchyard where Dylan is buried; up Ants Hill for a panoramic view over Laugharne; along the Long Lanes to Sea View, the Brown's Hotel, the Pelican, the Town Hall and down to the estuary with its castle and view of the Boat House.

From there the route goes into the country past Hugdon (still administered on the Feudal strip system) and to the Uplands with more panoramic views across Laugharne estuary.

Return to the stables for light refreshments and a commemorative rosette.

The complete package costs £40 per person all inclusive.  Riding hats are provided at no extra cost.  Please book 24 hours ahead to avoid disappointment.
